Privacy Policy

This policy applies to the public P³ website. It does not apply to scientific datasets, models, simulations, or other files held in a local P³ installation.

2. Cloudflare, hosting, and security

The website is delivered through Cloudflare Workers Static Assets. Cloudflare may process IP addresses, request metadata, and security signals needed to deliver and protect the website. Forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to detect automated requests, and public releases may be delivered from Cloudflare R2. This processing is based on our legitimate interest in operating a secure and reliable website.

3. Contact and feedback forms

When you submit a form, we process the information you enter, such as your name, email address, topic, company details where relevant, message, timestamp, and delivery status. Submissions are stored in Cloudflare D1 so that we can answer requests, process company licensing inquiries, receive feedback, and investigate problem reports. Do not submit confidential scientific data, credentials, datasets, model files, or simulation files.

4. Resend

Resend is used to send notification emails about form submissions. The submitted contact information and message may be processed by Resend for that purpose. A failure to send the notification does not remove the copy already stored in Cloudflare D1.

5. Google Analytics

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 provided by Google Ireland Limited to understand page visits, traffic sources, and general website usage. Google Analytics is not loaded before consent. The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG. Google provides further information in its Privacy Policy.

6. Cookies and consent

The website stores your privacy choice locally. If you accept analytics, Google Analytics may set analytics cookies. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through Cookie settings in the footer. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.

7. Retention

Contact and feedback submissions are normally retained for up to 180 days. They may be kept longer when needed for an ongoing conversation, a legal obligation, or the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims. Technical security logs are retained according to the relevant service provider settings and operational needs.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your personal data, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent at any time and lodge a complaint with a competent data protection authority.
